What we collect, and why.

Draft pending legal review. This page describes what the software actually does today. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and should not be relied on as final until it has. If you have questions before then, use the contact address below.

01 Information we collect from site visitors

When you submit a brief through the form on this site, we collect the six fields you fill in (what you offer, who you're targeting, the location, the channel, the goal, and how you want prospects qualified), plus the name and email address you give us to send your estimate and quote.

Public pages load a product analytics script from HeyCatch, a third-party service, which records page views and session activity — the pages you visit, the referrer or campaign link that brought you, and the coarse device and browser details a web request carries. We use it to see which pages earn briefs. It stores a randomly generated device and session identifier in your browser's local storage so repeat visits read as one visitor rather than several. We do not send it your name, your email address, or anything you type into the brief form, and we do not attach an account identity to it, because the public site has no sign-in. Operator pages under /admin are excluded. HeyCatch is a processor acting on our instructions; a browser extension or setting that blocks analytics scripts will block this one, and nothing about your brief is affected.

We also record first-touch acquisition data — which campaign or link brought you here (UTM parameters and referrer), captured client-side and stored in your browser's local storage for up to 30 days. It rides along with your brief so we know which channel earned the lead. A visit with no campaign signal is not recorded. This is best-effort: if your browser blocks local storage, no attribution is captured and nothing about your brief is affected.

02 Information we collect about prospect businesses

A run's deliverable is built from information about the businesses you asked us to find — not about you. That includes:

Every collected row carries its source and the date it was collected. None of this comes from private databases, scraped social profiles, or purchased lists — see the site copy on how discovery works for the current state of email verification on your run.

03 Retention

We keep brief and run data for as long as needed to deliver your run and handle related support. Signed download links to your deliverable expire 14 days after they're issued, but the underlying file is not automatically deleted at this time — there is no automated retention or deletion job in the current system. Deletion happens on request, described below.

04 US-only by design

Discovery and outreach are geo-fenced to United States businesses only — that's a product rule, not just a policy statement. The infrastructure that stores this data is also US-based.

05 Access, deletion, and opt-out requests

To request a copy of the information we hold about you or a business, to ask for it to be deleted, or to opt a business out of future discovery runs, contact hello@wirepitch.com. We will confirm what we found and what we did.
